What Company Is Offering:

The Tumri platform seamlessly deconstructs ad creatives into core sub-components (i.e. brand logo, background image, product image, offer/price, call to action, attention grabber, etc.), then enables advertisers to adjust each sub-component by targeting parameters or optimize by performance metrics. The various sub-components of the AdPod can be driven by any data source (e.g. spreadsheet, SEM bulksheets, affiliate data feeds, proprietary XML feeds, etc.) that can include specific products, prices, promotional messaging, or localized images, making it fast and easy to generate hundreds of targeted creatives from one ad execution.

Recent VCs Funding:

It has got $15 million in new capital. They also got over $10 million in equity from Time Warner Investments and existing investors Accel Partners, Shasta Ventures and Tenaya Capital, as well as $5 million in debt commitment from Silicon Valley Bank.

What VCs Says About Company:

“Tumri’s unique approach to dynamic online display advertising is a true innovation amongst the next generation of display ad platform solutions,” said Rachel Lam, senior vice president and group managing director of Time Warner Investments. Tumri has all the ingredients to redefine the online display advertising market.

How This Company Is Progressing:

Tumri was named an AlwaysOn 2009 OnMedia 100 winner, a winner of two Internet Advertising Competition awards, an American Business Awards Finalist in 2009 in the Technology Ads & Campaigns categories, a “One to Watch” company for Dealmaker Media’s 2007 Momentum Growth Conference and has been featured in The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, and in BusinessWeek.
