What Company Is Offering:

SharesPost is for sellers select their terms for the sale of their private company shares and post them in standardized contracts on theirr bulletin boards.

How It Works:

If a Buyer likes your terms, they use a third party electronic signature solution to sign your contract. When you counter-sign the contract, a binding agreement is created and is then shipped off to a licensed, third party escrow company to process your transaction.

If you see acceptable terms in a contract posted by a Buyer, just click the “Agree to Sell” button next to it. You will be asked to identify any transfer restrictions pertinent to your shares. If your shares have no such restrictions, you can sign the Buyer’s contract directly. If your shares do have restrictions, you upload the documents containing them. We attach those documents as an exhibit to a new contract and the present it to the Buyer. If the Buyer decides still wants to move forward with the transaction, he countersigns your contract and you move forward to escrow.
