Search the hidden treasures.Its maps are filled with hidden treasures.It is designed to collect location-based information, organize it smartly, and make it easy for consumers to discover, share and go mobile with the info they want.
How It Works:
You can do simple trip planning or day planning by clicking on any of the big green buttons in the “Search & Explore” tab. Or, after you have saved a few places, go to the “Saved Places” tab, where you can chose to send them to a GPS device or your mobile phone, e-mail to a friend, or just print them out.
You may register from the PublicEarth home page by clicking “Register” at the top right. You don’t need to register to create or download places, but you do if you want to make a user profile, rate places, get personalized suggestions, create collections, or add comments. To get the full flavor or PublicEarth, it’s good to register.All places are meant for PublicEarth. It have over 450 categories, including such esoteric topics such as “Nut Harvesting”, “Famous Death Locations”, and “Glass-blowing Studios”.
